We can define an external implementation of Serialize for Duration in a separate crate by using the Serde's remote attribute. To do this, we will need to create a proxy struct, let's call it DurationDef, which contains the exact same fields as the original Duration. Once that is in place, we can use Serde's with attribute in other parts of our code to serialize the original Duration type, using the custom DurationDef serializer that we have just defined.
